Stop Acting Rich (Dr Thomas J. Stanley)
This book by Dr Stanley, of The Millionaire Next Door, follows up with more habits of the rich and those acting rich.
Each section of the book deals with a commonly held belief of how the rich act and spend and the numbers to back it up. For example, many people believe that rich people drink expensive alcohol but Dr Stanley proves otherwise. The book is numbers-heavy with statistics coming from America. I find this interesting because it overturns myths about the rich and reinforces the teachings of his other books about how to spend. What would have made this book more interesting would have been a section on how marketing works or a commentary on it as this area is just touch-and-go in the book. The book can get a little dry but the author props it up with anecdotes here and there.
